Hospitals · the problem

Three problems we solve.

What goes wrong in hospitals & health services when checks live on paper and alerts depend on someone noticing.

  1. Cold storage in every corner

Pharmacy, pathology, wards and kitchens each keep their own fridges. Nobody sees all of them at once.

  2. Breaches found at the next round

A fridge that drifts after hours is found at the next manual check, when stock may already be lost.

  3. Audits that need a search party

Accreditation and food safety audits ask for records that sit in different binders on different floors.

Regulations

The rules you work under.

The rules that usually apply in hospitals & health services, and the records they ask for. MeridianCT captures those records as the work happens.

Standard 3.3.1 (official source, opens in a new tab)
Food safety programs for businesses that serve food to vulnerable people, such as hospitals, aged care and childcare.
Food Standards Code 3.2.2 (official source, opens in a new tab)
Keep potentially hazardous food at 5 °C or colder, or 60 °C or hotter. Cool cooked food from 60 °C to 21 °C within 2 hours, then to 5 °C within a further 4 hours.
National Vaccine Storage Guidelines (official source, opens in a new tab)
"Strive for 5": keep vaccines between +2 °C and +8 °C, record fridge temperatures, and act when they go out of range.
Health service accreditation
Assessors expect complete, retrievable records for cold storage, food safety and cleaning.

A plain-language summary, not legal advice. Rules differ by state and territory. MeridianCT keeps the records these rules ask for; your team and your regulator decide compliance.
