Callisto · Aged-care meal management

From each resident’s diet to the right tray.

For aged care: resident dietary profiles with IDDSI textures and allergens, meal ordering in the room or the dining room, the chef’s production forecast, tray assembly by room and intake recorded after the meal.

What it does

Every resident’s meal, right first time.

Meal management joins the resident’s profile to the kitchen’s production plan, so the order, the plate and the record agree.

Resident profiles

Clinical and non-clinical diets, IDDSI food and fluid textures, allergens and intolerances, assistive devices, and wing, room and bed.

Meal ordering

Orders for room service or the dining room, with ad-hoc dishes, allergen checks against the resident’s profile and an order history.

Pre-service allergen check

Before service, orders are checked against residents’ allergens, with alternative dishes suggested where a dish does not fit.

Chef’s production forecast

The production plan grouped by texture and portion, with hot-box loading per wing.

Tray assembly

A tray assembly line by room, with room-service tickets and tray tickets printed by wing.

Intake recording

What each resident ate is recorded after the meal, alongside intake feedback and the order history.

The resident profile

Built around each resident.

Everything the kitchen needs to know about a resident is kept in one profile, checked against every order and again before service.

Who is meal management for?

Aged-care and other residential kitchens. It is switched on per organisation, alongside the rest of Callisto.

Which textures does it handle?

Each resident’s IDDSI food and fluid textures are recorded in their profile, and the chef’s production forecast is grouped by texture.

How are allergens checked before service?

The pre-service allergen safety check compares orders with each resident’s allergens and intolerances, and suggests alternative dishes where needed.

Where do the menus come from?

From the menu cycles Callisto already holds, which can be planned in FoodIQ and published to sites.
